Literacy program held, newly members to MKPF felicitated

Bishnupur: Stating that contesting election is not the only means of working for the welfare of the people and the society, the Moirang Kendra Progressive Front (MKPF) has been taking up various initiatives for the welfare of the farmers and to generate funds for the female to develop Moirang A/C.

Social Worker Thongam Shanti Singh made the statement during a “Implementation of PM Kishan Scheme (KCC) cum Literacy Program” and felicitation of newly joined Active Worker of BJP to MKPF on Monday.

The occasion was jointly organised by Moirang Kendra Loumee Lup (MKLL) and MKPF at the office of MKPF at Moirang Philem Leikai.

Shanti further said that when the livelihoods of the farmers are developed, our society will be at the same level in terms of livelihood. Thus, the Scheme is being taken up in such a way that both the farmers and banks have a mutual understanding so that the farmers can avail their required funds from the Banks without facing any difficulty, he added.

Shanti said, seeing the hard work of himself and MKPF, Active members of the ruling BJP Government are joining MKPF. With warmly welcoming them, will take up big responsibility to develop the Constituency, and taking view of the uncertain governance of the present government, MKPF will try to join a National Political Party at the earliest.

The new joined members to MKPF from BJP and other Political parties were warmly felicitated with garland and traditional lengyan.

Experts from Loumee Lup and MKPF also distributed loan sanction letters to the beneficiary during the occasion.

MKPF Chief Advisor Dr. Y. Modhu, Moirang College History Department Head of Department Dr. M. Jugindro, Secretary M. Utamkumar, MKLL Chief Co-ordinator M. Shyamkumar attended as main dignitaries and spokespersons of the occasion.
