Imphal: A combined team of Bishnupur District Police and Women Police Sstation, Bishnupur arrested two persons from Bishnupur police station Gate on Sunday along with contraband drugs at around 4:10 pm.
The arrested miscreants were identified as Md. Najir Ahmad @ Sana (41 years), son of late Naha Achebe of Kwakta Sepla, and Md. Najir Ahmad @ Ithem (41), son of late Md. Ajijur Rahaman of Kwakta Terakhongshangbi.
The team seized 300 bottles of cough syrup and 27792 capsules of SINPHLEX C+TMB from the arrestees.
A case has been registered at Bishnupur Police station for further investigation.
