Talking to reporters at Manipur Pres Club on Tuesday, JAC Convenor Laishram Roshini Devi questioned why the concerned authorities was unable to arrest the culprits involved in the rape case till date. She mentioned that the session court rejected the anticipatory bail for the accused on August 31 and the same was also rejected by the High Court of Manipur on October 10.
There is no any sign of arresting those individuals involved in the rape case till now and at the same time the police are yet to seize the vehicle used in the incident, Roshini said.

Roshini urged the State Government to arrest all the culprits involved in the rape case at the earliest or face a series of agitations. She also appealed to all CSOs, NGOs, Meira Paibi organizations, students’ bodies and local clubs to extend full support to ensure that early justice is delivered to the victim.
