Delhi: A Two-Day 4th India Land & Development Conference (ILDC) 2020 held under the theme “Institutions, Innovations, Information in Land Governance” at India International Centre, New Delhi concluded on Wednesday.
The two days conference was jointly organised by Azim Premji University, Foundation For Ecological Security (FES), Housing & Land Rights Network, Landesa Rural Development Institute, Land Rights Initiative, NCAER, NRMC, WRI, India.
On the conclusion day, Secretary ILDC Pranab R. Choudhury; Ex-Chairman Land Policy Cell, NITI Aayog & Director CAPD, ILDC Dr. Tajamul Haque; Retd. Land Commissioner Nivedata Haran; Azim Premji University Professor Narayan A.; CEO Chandler Foundation Tim Hanstad attended as the main guests of the conference.
Different NGO’s working in different States of India, Representatives of Government Offices and various delegates from all over the world also attended the conference.
Speaking at the conference, Dr. Tajamul Haque said that as the conference discussed on various land issues of India, they are able to find out the present situations of land issues.
He said, there will be huge impacts in changing the land policies, from the conference.
