Imphal: The Irabot Foundation Manipur (IFM) on Wednesday launched its “Know your Schemes” campaign with an aim to spread awareness on various schemes implemented by the Central and State Government in the State.
The announcement was made by president of IFM Thongam Ajit during a press meet held in connection with the campaign at Manipur Press Club.
Addressing media persons, Thongma Ajit informed that the main objective of launching the campaign is to make the people understand about various schemes implemented by the Central and State government in the State and whether the schemes have reached to the genuine beneficiaries or not.
He informed that the campaign mainly focuses on various schemes on agriculture, veterinary, horticulture, fisheries, Central Agricultural University (CAU), ICAR, minor irrigation, CADA and water resource department.
He said that the campaign also aims at finding out a data whether the schemes have dole in wrong hands and gives emphasis on making Manipur a self-reliant State, boosting productivity and getting our fundamental rights. The first phase of the campaign was launched in remote parts of the State to be followed in the valley in the second phase, added the IFM president.
