Thoubal/Bishnupur: The High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination 2020 conducted by Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM) has begun at different 140 board and private centres on Monday.
On the first day of the examination, eight students have been expelled for impersonation.
Of the expelled students, 2 students are from Tengkhojang Higher Secondary School, Noney; 3 students from Pishak Macha Bidya Mandir and 1 student each from Kumari High School Hiyangthang, Morning Star English School and Sekmai Khumbi High School.
There are 38,664 students appearing the in the HSCL Examination 2020 of which 19,040 are boys and 19,624 are girls.
Watermark at the answer sheets of the examination has also been introduced for the very first time of the State.
The HSLC Examination will conclude on March 5, 2020.
Meanwhile, The HSLC Examination 2020 by also begun peacefully in Bishnupur District.
14 schools under ZEO Zone IV Bishnupur and schools of different district are appearing in the examination in Bishnupur District.
During a surprise visit by the staff of these newspaper at Nambol Higher Secondary School, it was found the students appearing the examination very peacefully.
Principal of the School L. Badalkumar is taking the charge of OC and including him 1 OC, 2 AOC 18 Invigilator and 4 SI were found maintaining strict visual during the examination.
As Security in-charge SI H. Memchoubi and 4 personnel of Bishnupur District Police and 2 home guard, altogether 6 security persons were found to be on alert during the examination.
Altogether 441 students will appear in the examination at the Nambol Higher Secondary School , however on the very first day of the examination on English subject, 401 students were supposed to appear the examination instead 213 boys and 182 girls student appeared the examination and 4 students were found absent.
Altogether 3721 students for Bishnupur District will appear in the examination.
