TMB Correspondent: An Atal Tinkering Laboratory (ATL) was opened at Paradise English School, Thoubal Okram in Thoubal District on its 18th Foundation Day observance of the School on Monday.
Councilor Thoubal Municipal Council (TMC) Ward No. 1 Okram Inaotombi Devi, Principal Paradise English School Dr. Ningombam Ranjit Singh, ZEO Zone-III Thoubal Deputy Inspector Asem Rebika Devi, Founder EDULIFE India Thokchom Mritenjoy Singh and Director EDULIFE Thokchom Sanju Singh attended the event as Chief Guest, President and Guest of Honours respectively.
Speaking at the event, Councilor Okram Inaotombi Devi said that with the newly opened “Atal Tinkering Laboratory (ATL)”, many students who have their own innovative ideas will surface with their different new innovation.
She said, if the teachers are able to select out the most interested students and give more ideas and encouragement through the lab, a successful innovator will surely bring out from the school.
As part of the 18th Foundation of the School, the Councilor also greets the staffs and students of the school.
Direcotr EDULIFE Thokchom Sanju said that the “Atal Tinkering Laboratory (ATL)” is being opened in different part of India for the school students who have their own idea to develop new innovative products through the lab by giving new innovation idea to the unused electronic materials which remain non-function in their houses and in their neighbours.
As part of the event, the founder member of the school and elderly persons residing near the school area were greeted with small token of gifts from the School Authority side.
Meritorious students of the school were also felicitated with early prizes.
Students of the school also showcase different cultural dances and songs during the event.
