Field Outreach Prog Held in Senapati

IMPHAL: Field Outreach Bureau, Ministry of I & B, Govt. of India, Senapati Unit organised one day special outreach awareness programme on Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat at Khunkhu Naga Village Community hall, Senapati District on 23rd February , 2020.

The Programme was attended by Hon’ble Member Wililungbou, ADC, Khengjang, M.L Sambonang and. A.B. Matiumang as chief guest, guest of honour and Function President respectively. The component of the programme consist of a talk by the resource person, Jennifer Serto , Supervisor ICDS, MaoMaram Project.

A. Sankhil George, FPA, Senapati delivered the keynote address in which he hilighted the important of FOB in field activities and on various central sponsored scheme for the welfare of the society.

Speaking at the occasion as Resource, Jennifer Serto, Supervisor ICDS, Mao Maram Project spoke on the benefit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, she elaborate on society and the village about the culture diversity coexists and indeed the powers of emotional duty. She elaborates more on the language and dialect, diverse food and costumes as our rich heritage, where we celebrate festivals of different regions, then sense of indianess flourishes. This is Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat. Each Year, pair one state with another for interaction between the people and have knowledge about language, cuisine, culture, music and introduce once alphabet and songs for the pair state. And have introduction of five award winning books and songs of the state which is translated in each language.

Hon’ble Member, Wiliulungbou, ADC, Khengjang who is also the chief guest of the function, opined that the people should come forward and have the knowledge about the culture and heritage about different tribes  and religion He further stated that the public who have attained the programme should carry out the message that was delivered by the resource person to them and share to the people who were unreached in the places who never benefited due to lack communication and transportation. The noble effort of the team was appreciated. He also thanks Field Outreach Bureau for conducting such important programme for the Villagers and for the well-being of rural mass.
