IMPHAL: A farewell ceremony for the recently retired officer and staff of Minor Irrigation department was organized by the All Manipur Minor Irrigation Department Employees Association (AMMIDEA) at M.I Department Complex, Lamphelpat on Saturday.
While delivering a presidential speech, president of AMMIDEA S. Ranjit Singh said that the farewell ceremony was organized for fifty-five pensioners, those officers and staffs of department which was recently retired from the work. He also said that out of fifty-five pensioners, 37 pensioners were served as regulated employees and eighteen were served as voucher employees in the department.
The president appealed and drew the attention of the state government and the concern authorities to fill up the vacancy posts at the earliest for a smoothly functioning in the department. He on behalf of all the working staffs and employees extended a warm wish to all the pensioners for a prosperous life in the future to come. He further appealed to all the pensioners to forgive and forget each other’s mistakes and chaos happened between them in the past.
Executive Engineer of M.I Division no.I Th. Dayananda Singh, EE of M.I Division no-III and Assistant director State Cell Kh. Rajendro Singh attended as the main dignitaries at the day.
