EECHAL observes 15th Foundation Day

IMPHAL: The Ereipak Enaat Chanura Loinsinlon (EECHAL) has observed its 15th foundation day at Poirei Nawa Kon Home with adhering to social distancing norms on Saturday.

According to a press release issued by its publicity and information secretary S ongbi Shilhembee stated that the caretaker of the home as well as joint secretary of Leimakon S E Sunita thanked EECHAL for aiding the children who are residing at the home with essential items during the simple foundation day programme.

The presidium members mentioned that daily wage earners who live a hand to mouth life have been suffering from many inconveniences during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic lockdown and curfew. They also drew the attention of the state government to take up necessary steps to support the unfortunate people in the society during this pandemic lockdown.

Further, it urged each and every citizen of the state to strictly follow rules and regulations set by the health department and government, asserting that following the prescribed guidelines and protocol is the only available way to fight the pandemic successfully.

The president of EECHAL Tongbram ongbi Ibemcha, president of UCM Sunil Karam and joint secretary of Leimakon SE Sunita attended as the presidium members of the foundation.
