Disinfectants Sprayed at Different Areas in Bishnupur District

Bishnupur: With an aim to stop the spread of the pandemic Covid-19 in Bishnupur District, disinfectants have been sprayed at different areas in Bishnupur District on Tuesday.

As part of the initiatives taken up to spray disinfectants to stop the spread of the Covid-19 in different areas in Bishnupur District under the supervision of District Administration DC Bishnupur Neeta Arambam (IAS) along with the help of EE of PHED, SDO/SDM/ BDO Moirang of Moirang CD block Ch. Somorendro Singh led the spraying of the disinfectants at four different locations of Moirang CD Block Panchayat for the first phase.

The disinfectants were sprayed at Phubala, Sunushiphai, Naranseina and areas of public assembly at Tronglaobi including Bazaar sheds, community hall, temple and ritual function places, primary health center, urinal, dustbin and banks, etc. since early morning.

SDO/SDM/BDO Moirang, Pradhan, Members, members and volunteers of clubs and organisations and staff of Moirang Fire Sub Station took part at the spraying of the disinfectants.

On the other hand, personnel of Pougakchao Ikhai Police Station along with youth club of the area under Bishnupur District have also sprayed disinfectants to stop spread of the pandemic Covid-19 in Pougakchao Ikhai and Kangvai area.

OC of Pougakchao Ikhai Police Station Kh. Rajen Khanganba and members and volunteers of the different clubs sprayed disinfectants since early morning.

Police personnel, VDF personnel and representatives of the clubs also took part at sprayed of the disinfectants.

Disinfectants were also sprayed at Karang Island under Thanga A/C by Pradhan Thanga Part – I O. Romen and its ward members.

Lairenjam Apunbagi Club and Khul Committee jointly sprayed disinfectants at whole area in Lairenjam Khul in Imphal West District.

Members and volunteers of the Khul Committee and the club also took part at the sprayed of the disinfectants.
