IMPHAL: The Directorate of Tribal Affairs and Hills, Imphal has notified that due to delay in admission by many institutes, Online Registration both fresh and renewal on National Scholarship Portal has been extended till December 15, 2020 by DBT Team, NSP, New Delhi in considering that many intending students could not register online on NSP for ST scholarship for the year 2020-2021.
In its notification signed by the Director of Tribal Affairs and Hills C. Arthur Worchuiyo the directorate has clarified for those students applying for ST Scholarship Renewal on National Scholarship Portal regarding the document to be uploaded as last academic qualification; For degree/diploma courses, mark sheet of last academic year 2019 (1″/3/5thSemester) either pass or fail may be uploaded as mark sheet of last academic qualification, If result of examination conducted in 2019 is yet to be declared, Admit Card of the examination may be uploaded as proof of last academic qualification and if both mark sheet and Admit Card of last academic year examination are not available, Institutes may include in the Bonafide Certificate or issue a separate Certificate that examination for the academic year 2019-2020 is yet to be conducted.
Further mentioned that some applications have been classified as defected from State Login, the applicants may correct/upload required documents as given in remarks and re-submit the application online on NSP at the earliest so that Institutes can re-verify and submit the same on National Scholarship Portal before December 30, 2020. No complaints or request for extension of Online Registration of ST Scholarship on National Scholarship Portal will be entertained by this Office after December 15, 2020.
