IMPHAL: The Democratic Students’ Alliance of Manipur (DESAM) has announced plans to inspect the condition of infrastructures of the 60 model schools selected under “School Fagathansi Mission, 2019” launched by the education department with an objective to bring better education in the state. The inspection will begin from December 11, 2020.
In a press release, DESAM secretary education and academic affairs Longjam Robin said that the selective survey is related with its ongoing Mass Reformation Campaign Phase II. The students’ body will be using eight parameters in examining the progress of the selected 60 schools during its inspection.
Moreover, DESAM said that the 60 schools must have proper infrastructures like classrooms, school campus, laboratories, smart classroom, excellent furniture, outdoor gymnasium, drinking facilities, electricity and separate toilets for both girls and boys, the release added.
DESAM assured to lend a helping hand to the government’s initiative in the development of education in our society and as well as to relay an accurate account of the conditions of the schools to the public at the same time.
