DANNSI graduation day cum lamp lighting, Capping and oath taking ceremony held

IMPHAL: The DR. Ajuli Nayak Nursing School Imphal(DANNSI) on Friday celebrated its 1st batch of General Nursing Midwifery(GNM) graduation day cum Lamp lighting, Capping and Oath taking ceremony of 4th batch GNM at Imphal Christian Church, Dewlahland.

While delivering a keynote, Principal of DANNSI D. Mercy Chiru said that the ceremony was celebrated with an objective to bridge the gap between rural and urban communities and the same time GNM has been working hard and also prayed for upgrading nursing school.

Addressing as the chief guest at the ceremony, deputy-director of Nursing Specialist Group (NSG) Lalbeikmoi said that the lamp lighting candle indicated the absence of darkness, ignorance, grief and to drive out all the negativities of life and also it symbolize the responsibility of being a nurse in profession.

She further stated that every success nurse should be proud of white cap being crown to them  who has enter in the profession of nurse which shows purity, selfless dedication being noble to be in the profession and she said that nursing seems to be the noblest profession in the world, added Lalbeikmoi.

She extended her encouragement and congratulation towards the entire nurse especially nurse attended during the ceremony to cheer up by upholding the value of the traditional nursing profession with adequate skill and sufficient knowledge also with proper attitude.

The lamp lighting cum oath taking ceremony was exhorted through blessing prayer by Administration Secretary of Kuki Christian Church (KCC) Dr. T. Lunkim.

Vice-president of DANNSI L. Rosy, Senior Tutor of DANNSI H. Sanjubala were also attended at the ceremony.
