Cr. P.C 144 affects normal life in state

IMPHAL: The total lockdown of Market, Shops and transportation system of Manipur has kept Kwairaband Bazaar extreme silent for a second day with exercising power of Cr. P. C. 144 for the avoidance of public gathering of 4 or more people in groups in taking precautions of the outbreak of covid19 in the state untill 31st March and further notice from the government.

With the impacts of total lockdown by the state government  to prevent from against covid19 disease some students and individuals were found facing  inconvenience in traveling to their home villages due to the cessation of transportation system at Inter State  Bus Terminus of Imphal at Khuman Lampak.

However some small shops in the local areas were found opened maintaining the distance position of customers, hence, also people were seen following the rules of prohibition for gathering in group in many places under the control and influences of Manipur police which were deployed in different parts of imphal city.

The city’s banks and oil pumps witnessed customers waiting in long queue facing the heat of the sun but most of the oil pumps were found closed after 12 pm and people were reprised of the thoughts of unavailability of fuel in the state.
