Covid-19 Brings Hills and Valley Closer

MP Lorho-led Hills and Valley Pits and Pieces Exchange at Wangjing

Thoubal: Though the Covid-19, which first began from Wuhan province of China has spread all over the world and affected the lives of human beings, the pandemic virus appears to be gapping the relation between hills and valley of Manipur State much closer day by day.

Hills and Valley are one and with the thought that elder brother/hills cannot remain still when younger brother/valley is suffering, bits and pieces were exchange with the people of Wangjing in Thoubal District led by Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency MP Lorho S. Pfoje on Thursday.

During the bits and pieces exchange, the elder brother/hills side was represented by MP Lorho S. Pfoje, MLA Tamei A/C and also President NPF Manipur State Unit Awangbou Newmai, Social Worker Gaidon Kamei while the younger brother/valley was represented by MLA Wangjing-Tentha A/C Paonam Brojen and womenfolk where bits and pieces grown in the hills and valleys which include shawls made at Yongkham and wheat produced by Wangjing-Tentha progressive farmers, etc. were exchanged.

Representatives of both hills and valley shared their never ending bond, their unity and love between them and the bits and pieces exchange occasion is a very emotional and loving occasion for both the hills and valley which will remain forever and none cannot break it.

Both the representatives also appreciated the State Government for the initiatives taken up to fight and contain from the pandemic Covid-19 and urge the people to follow the government guidelines to protect from these virus and to help each other in defeating it.
