Bishnupur: After inspection of the first day of Higher Secondary Examination, 2020 conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COSEM), the examination was found to have been carried out with satisfaction in Bishnupur district.
An Officer in-Charge (OC), an Assistant Officer in-Charge (AOC), three Supervising Invigilators (SI), sixteen invigilators and eight police personnel led by Security in-Charge Havildar Ch. Santo were found maintaining strict visuals at the centre for peaceful conduct of the examination.
Assistant Professor Dr. P. Santikumar of CI College Bishnupur was found on active duty as Supervising Officer (SO).
The examination at Thambal Marik College, which is one of the centres in Bishnupur District, was reported to have been conducted without using any unfair means.
Altogether 284 students of King’s Academy Nambol and Human Resoure Development (HRD) Ghari are appearing in the examination at the centre and on the first day of the examination 169 boys and 111 girls, a total of 280 students, were sat at the examination.
In a rare situation, a girl student who could not stand on her feet due to an accident was also found appearing the examination at a different room on a wheelchair guarded by one invigilator.
On the first day, altogether 1219 students both boys and girls are appearing the Higher Secondary Examination, Class XII Examination, 2020 conducted by COHSEM at five different centre of the Bishnupur District namely Nambol Higher Secondary School, Bishnupur Higher Secondary School, Ningthoukhong Higher Secondary School, Moirang Multipurpose Higher Secondary School and Thambalmarik College Oinam.
