New Delhi; Chief Minister N. Biren Singh on Friday stated that the BJP government in the state has done more work and brought in more development in just over 2 years than the previous government.
Addressing the gathering during An Evening with Hon’ble CM N. Biren Singh, organised by Delhi Manipuri Society at Press Club of India, Delhi on Friday, the chief minister stated that his government’s sole purpose is to better Manipur and work for the people of the state.
BJP govt has done more work and brought more development in just over 2 years than the previous government in the state, Biren told the Manipur voters gathered at the meet. Hill-valley relationship, infrastructure has also improved and anti-corruption cell set up to prevent any corruption in the state, the CM added.
He also stated national highways have improved in the state and even extended to Myanmar with the help of the Centre under the leadership of PM Modi. Jobs have also been given under East Act policy and Cabinet meetings are now organised in the hills. Along with this and Go to hills policy, the relationship between the two have improved, Biren said.
The CM also said that despite India’s GDP running low, Manipur’s GDP is growing 8% and has been vital for the country’s economy.
During the interaction with the Manipur voters in the national capital, MLA Satyabharta Thokchom, Yaiskul A/C; Dy Speaker Robindro, Mayang Imphal A/C; MLA Sushildro Singh, Khurai AC; Rameshwor, Keirao AC and Premananda Sharma, BJP Manipur State Unit Vice president were present.
