AR seizes critical disinfectants and medicine

IMPHAL: Troops of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) recovered huge quantity of medicines, hygiene and sanitation materials from Integrated Check Post (ICP), Moreh on Wednesday.

As part of area dominating patrol near Integrated Check Post (ICP) Moreh, troops observed suspicious movement of persons across the Menal River in the hours of darkness carrying white colored bags over head. On challenging them, they fled towards Myanmar, IGAR(S) said in a press release.

On detailed search of the area, troops recovered huge quantity of medicines, hygiene and sanitation materials, the IGAR(S) said.

The details are 68 bottles x Dettol Liquid multiuse hygiene, 72 bottles x Dettol Hand wash, 67 bottles x Dettol Liquid (550 ml), 871 bottles x Dettol Liquid (250 ml), 1275 bottles x Dettol Liquid (125 ml), 120 bottles x Dettol Liquid (110 ml), 192 glass bottles x Dettol Liquid (60 ml), 73 Plastic bottles x Dettol Liquid (60 ml), 25 bottles x Hand sanitizer, 210 Nos x Dettol soap, 6450 Nos x Digene Tablet, 360 Nos x Intagra (Sildanafil Citrate), 30 Tubes x Betovate GM, 60 Tubes x O2 Derm Cream, 1200 Nos x Porush Jeevan Tablets, 340 Nos x Griso C2 Tablets, 24 bottles x Acicod (400 ml), 20 bottles x Ulgel (450 ml), 50 bottles x Mutivitamin becadexamin, 240 Nos x Ampicillin capsules, 1000 Nos x Ezypyrine, 600 Nos x Glisen, 500 injections x Ardex sodium phosphate injection, 30 tubes x Betnovate – C, 4000 Nos x Choloroquine tablets, 30 bottles x Cypon Syrup, 30 bottles x Liv 52, 30 bottles x Neopeptine, 5000 Nos x Alzin tablet, 20 bottles x Acicod (200 ml), 150 Nos x Tetracycline tablet, 30 bottles x Dabur Gripe water, 1200 Nos x Pain lock  tablet, 50 bottles x Corex DX, 500 Nos x Tri Glynase, 20 Nos x Liv 52 tablet, 240 Nos x Stemetil injection, 500 Nos x Enteromycitin tablet, 400 Nos x Sinarest tablet, 52 tubes x Melacare forte cream (200 gm) and 32 Nos x Dexona injection (2 ml) in a total of 25 bags.                            

The recovered medicines, hygiene and sanitation materials were handed over to Moreh Police Station, IGAR(S) said.
