AMFA gives financial help to N. Ramananda

Imphal: A joint team of All Manipur Football Association (AMFA), District Football Association (DFA), Moirang and individuals (football lovers) came together to reach out with financial assistance to national player Ningthoujam Ramananda at his residence at Ngangkha Leikai Moirang on Saturday.

He is undergoing treatment for damages to both his kidneys at JNIMS Hospital.

The financial assistance was contributed by AMFA, DFA Moirang, M. Devan, legal advisor, AMFA, and Th. Jiten, executive member AMFA. H. Joy, Executive Member, AMFA, also gave a bag of rice from his side.

M. Ratankumar, President, AMFA, H. Chetan, Treasurer, AMFA, H. Meghachandra, Executive Member AMFA, Th. Joy, Executive Member AMFA, H. Joy, Head of Referee AMFA, K. Yaima, President, DFA, Ph. Megha, Secretary, DFA were part of the team that visited the young footballer.

Ningthoujam Ramananda is a player of NACO Nambul Mapal team. He had represented Manipur in many aged level national championships and the National Sub-Junior Championship 2013 for U-12 & U-13 at Kolkata. He played at the Coca Cola Trophy U-13 in 2013 at West Bengal and National Football Championship 2014 for U-15 at Delhi. Ramananda took part in the Asian Football Soccer Championship 2017 for U-17 at Guwahati and he was played for SAI Gujarat in 2016.
