ABVP assures to help stranded students from state

IMPHAL: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyartha Parishad (ABVP) which is one the biggest student’s organization in the world has announced that it will be helping students from the state who are studying in other parts of the country and have been stranded there as a fallout of the nationwide lockdown on account of the Covid-19 pandemic .

 For the last many years, the organization has been helping students of Manipur including those who are studying outside the state. The student’s organization will be helping those students of Manipur studying in other states to their level best after collection of information about them from the volunteers of state unit, ABVP stated in a press release.

Recently, some students from north east who went to purchase essential items at a grocery shop were unfortunately refused entry. In this connection, the ABVP volunteers went to the police station and filed an FIR case. On the other hand, the volunteers of ABVP, Uttaranchal also provided meals to those Manipuri students staying in a hostel without resources at Dehradun, the press note recounted.

The volunteers of the organization in every state of India are prepared to extend help with regards to various problems and difficulties being faced by the students from the entire north eastern region who are residing in different states of India.
