Imphal: The 6th Indian Reserved Battalion (IRB), who has been taking a major role in maintaining Law and Order status of the State, has carried out a Flag March on Monday, with an aim to strengthen the friendly attach between the public and police personnel.
Battalion Commandant M. Kumarjit led the Flag March from the Battalion passing through Waiton, Wairi and Pangei.
Speaking in connection with the Flag March, Deputy Commandant of the Battalion Suresh Thapa said that the Flag March will somehow help in minimizing the crimes and unwanted incidents happening and occurring in various parts and localities of the state. The Flag March will also help in wipe out the fears and bring peace to the public, he added.
Suresh Thapa urged the people of the locality to support the Police Personnel while carrying out Flag march and said that the March is one of the initiatives to cleanse and wipe out the bad people from the locality.
The Flag March will be continued to bring a peaceful life to the people of the state and also to maintain a peaceful society, he added.
