IMPHAL: Under the aegis of Inspector General of Police, CRPF, M&N Sector 69 Bn, CRPF organized a Civic Action Programme (CAP) on Thursday at Lhangnom, New Keithelmanbi, Kangpokpi, wherein Free Medical Camp and distribution of Water Storage Tanks were carried out.
The Medical Camp was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Abdul Nazar, CMO (SG) and Dr. P.Premlata, GDMO-69 Bn, CRPF. Free Medical Check-up and Medicines were provided to the needy villagers.
Ujjal Dutta, Second-In-Command on behalf of 69 Bn, CRPF distributed Water Storage Tank. He appraised the gathering about the ongoing welfare programmes conducted by CRPF. Speaking during the Programme, he described the role of CRPF towards the Nation and also asserted that CRPF would continue to render its services to the people of Manipur for their growth, development, prosperity and also assured that more Civic Action Programmes (CAP) will be organized in the near future.
It is worthwhile mentioning that 69 Bn, CRPF has been consistently organizing CAPs and providing necessary assistance in construction of Toilets & Bathrooms, Community Halls, Water Storage facilities, Medical Camps, Sports items etc. to the needy Clubs, villages and localities.
The local villagers of the area heartily appreciated and welcomed the Civic Action Programme conducted by 69 Bn, CRPF.
