IMPHAL: Manipur Government has appointed 18 Additional Nodal Officers to assist the state’s Nodal Officers who have been appointed to coordinate with the Nodal officers of other states and UTs to facilitate the movement of Manipuris stranded outside.

According to the order issued by the state Home department on Monday, Anurag Bajpaye, IFS, APCCF, SS Chabra IFS, OSD/ Forest, AK Joshi, IFS, APCCF will assist Dr. Suhel Akhtar, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary as additional Nodal officers. N Deben, Director, IT, Ningthoujam Poireiton will assist Dr. Rajesh Kumar, IAS Addl. CS (97111 99705) while Sonia Oinam, MCS, Md Ziour Rahaman, MFS as additionan Nodal officers to M.H.Khan, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Anjali Chongtham, MCS, Lucy Haokip, MFS to P. Vaiphei, lAS, Principal Secretary, Bidyarani Ayekpam, MCS, N Denish Singh, MFS to Rakesh Ranjan, IAS, Principal Secretary (88261 89000), K Bono, MCS, Y Indrakumar, MFS to R.K. Home department earlier on May 3 notified Standard Operating System to facilitate the movement of the people of the state stranded outside the state and are eager to return. The SOP requires the stranded persons who are coming by private or hired vehicles to fill in the prescribed format available in the official website www.tengbang.in or send it by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org . The cell with the Home department dedicated for the purpose will issue the pass as soon as possible and also communicate it to the originating and transiting states to facilitate the movement. The applicats are also asked to register in the website of the resident states for seeking a pass from them wherever applicable.
